Alexandre Sènou Adandé Museum (Porto-Novo)


Ethnographic museum As its name suggests, the Alexandre Sènou Adandé ethnographic museum is a gateway entry on the ethnic knowledge of Benin. It has the merit of presenting mainly the culture of southern Benin with a special mention on "Gèlèdè" masks.
Several objects and accessories used in ritual ceremonies are exhibited there.

The museum houses a large very old collection. In addition, inside the museum, all along the wall, you can see several murals that characterize the ethnic diversity of Benin.
