The Songhaï center (Porto-Novo)
It is a center whose vision and mission is to actively participate in the development of Africa by relying on an integrated and organic primary sector whose bases respect the natural ecosystem.
The areas of intervention of the Songhaï center are, among others, animal husbandry, crop production, energy production and aquaculture. It offers training based on knowledge, and know-how to train future entrepreneurs in these fields of activity. Songhai is open to the public for discovery of its food factories, its recycling and plastic production unit, its renewable energy department where bio gas and electrical energy are produced at from organic matter, its maggots where maggots are produced for fish.
Finally, you can visit its garden which offers a magnificent landscape. All visitors are amazed by the Songhaï model.
