Place Bio Guerra
Like other Dahomean heroes, Bio Guerra is a worthy son of the North, a Wassangari warrior prince. According to legend, he is a hero of national resistance against colonialism. This square is designed in his honor to immortalize the resistance he waged against French imperialism in Benin. The Place Bio Guerra is a place of walk and stroll for the local population of Parakou and a place of curiosity for visitors to learn about the history of Bio Guerra.
