The Tata Somba in "Somba Country"
The
Tata Somba are traditional dwellings in northern Benin. They are
classified as heritage UNESCO World Heritage Site and are endowed with a
remarkable architecture unique in the world, which is based on two
levels. The first level is for livestock and cooking equipment while the
second level serves as a dormitory and drying of food products. The
Tata Somba are built from the ground up cooked associated with plant
