Cotton production

Still called "White gold", cotton is the first export crop in Benin. It represents a significant economy and actively participates in state revenue. In Africa, for 2 years, Benin has been at the head of cotton production even if this position is contradicted by certain studies. The commune of Malanville and its surroundings are areas whose land is suitable for cotton growing. As soon as you arrive in Malanville, you can stroll in the cotton fields, attend the sowing or harvest of cotton depending on the season without forgetting to learn about the life of cotton farmers.
